Terms and Conditions

These terms apply when you use BytesCop Academy (academy.bytescop.com) and the BytesCop website (bytescop.com), and when you buy a course. BytesCop Academy is run by Palavi Technologies India Pvt Ltd. ("we", "us"). Contact: support@bytescop.com.

By creating an account or buying a course, you agree to these terms.

1. Who can use the Academy

You must be 18 years or older to create an account or buy a course. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older.

2. Your account

• You sign in with your email address and a one-time code we send to it. Keep access to that email account secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
• Your account is for you alone. Do not share it or your access to courses with anyone else.
• You can watch on one device at a time. Signing in on a new device signs you out of the previous one.

3. Buying a course

• Prices are shown on the course page before you pay, in Indian Rupees (INR), and include all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Payment is processed by Razorpay. We do not receive or store your card, UPI or bank details. Razorpay's own terms apply to the payment.
• When your payment succeeds, the course is added to your account, usually within a few minutes, and we send you a confirmation email.
• You will receive a receipt for your payment by email. Where a tax invoice applies, it is issued by Palavi Technologies India Pvt Ltd. and sent to the email address on your account.

4. Lifetime access and free updates

• Lifetime access. When you buy a course, you can watch it for as long as BytesCop Academy operates. Access does not expire after a period of time.
• Free updates. Updates to the course you bought (new or re-recorded lessons, fixes, added material) are included at no extra cost. Separate new courses are not included.
• Retired or replaced courses. If a course is retired, you keep access to it; if it is replaced by a new version, you get the new version instead.
• If the Academy closes, we will tell you by email at least 30 days in advance.

5. Refunds

You can get a full refund within 7 days of buying a course if you have watched no more than 10% of it; after that, the purchase is final. The details are in the Refund and Cancellation Policy. If something is not working, write to support@bytescop.com and we will help.

6. What you may and may not do with course content

• You may watch the courses you bought for your own learning.
• You may not copy, download, record, re-upload, resell, share or publicly show course videos or materials, or let anyone else use your account.
• Course content remains the property of Palavi Technologies India Pvt Ltd.

7. When we may end or suspend access

We may suspend or end your access, without refund, if you breach these terms, for example by sharing your account or redistributing course content. Access also ends if a payment is fully refunded or reversed through a chargeback.

8. Offensive security content

Some courses teach attack techniques so that you can defend against them. Use them only on systems you own or are explicitly authorised to test, and within the law. You are responsible for how you use what you learn. The courses are for education only and do not authorise you to access any system.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Academy available but cannot promise uninterrupted access. We may update the Academy and these terms; changes will be shown on this page with a new date, and we will email account holders about material changes before they take effect.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a course is limited to the amount you paid for that course, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be excluded.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights as a consumer, the courts at Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.

12. Grievances and contact

For any question or complaint about the Academy, a course or these terms, write to our Grievance Officer at support@bytescop.com. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month.
